TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
