Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
